Mário Sérgio has extensive experience with open government, open data and digital participation projects. He held the position of General Coordinator of Digital Participation at the Presidência da República do Brasil, where he collaborated with the development of the Brasil Participativo portal.
He worked as Developer Relations at Jusbrasil, where he collaborated with building high-performance teams and also positioning the company at the frontier of knowledge in the technology community.
Mário Sérgio worked at Open Knowledge Brasil as Tech Manager, developing projects and communities in Civic Innovation area and led the Operação Serenata de Amor.
Former president of the Python Brasil Association. In 2016, he was responsible for organizing the Python Brasil Conference, based in Florianópolis-SC. In 2017 he was named fellow member of the Python Software Foundation in the United States.
